Tim’s eyes flooded with tears as he walked his firstborn daughter, Sarah, down the aisle…

…to give her to Matthew, whose smile stretched ear to ear as he joyfully awaited his radiant bride. In a few moments, they would exchange vows and begin a new life chapter with family and friends celebrating alongside them. As I photographed this moment, it confirmed why I’m a photographer.

My passion for photography began in 2007 when my brother’s baseball team played in the College World Series in Omaha, NE. It was a childhood dream come true for both of us. Wanting to document this moment, I grabbed the small, unused camera that I was given a year before, began firing away, and quickly realized I loved taking pictures.

In 2014, I began to photograph weddings and engagements after buying my first professional camera. I count it a joy and honor to document the special moments of a wedding day and create art that can be enjoyed for generations to come.
