Who captures both candid moments as they happen and poses you naturally and comfortably when needed with simple instructions to help bring out your best look, while keeping it authentically you. The truth is the best poses (and some of the best photos) don’t look posed - even though they’re directed. I’ve studied under the world’s most awarded wedding photographer to learn a variety of posing techniques that work for any couple and setting and I help keep you comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera to bring out natural looking photos and expressions.
An EXPERIENCED Photographer
Who shoots confidently in natural light, in low light with flash, and can do creative light painting techniques. Additionally, I keep your wedding photo experience pleasant and running smoothly by working well as a team player with your wedding planner and all other vendors.
my style
I shoot a blend of styles - I mix a variety of candid and naturally posed documentary and editorial style photos. I’m also highly relational and true to my strengths (Connectedness and Relator on the StrengthsFinder test) - I enjoy getting to know you and your partner and hearing your story so I can capture who you truly are as a couple and the moments that mean the most to you. I employ both natural and supplemental lighting to give your photos a clear, focused look that tell your story authentically. And I make sure to capture a good balance of detail shots and fun moments with family and friends. I’m also a film photographer so let me know if you’re interested in film!
The steps to working together
1. Schedule a call
I’d love to hear more about your vision for your wedding day, get to know you, see if we are the right fit to work together! You fill out a form (by clicking on the Connect button below) and answer a few questions and I promptly follow up to schedule a call.
2. Secure your booking & Pre-PLANNING
You secure your booking and we begin planning for your photos and discuss an engagement photoshoot if desired. And if you need any vendor referrals for other services I’m happy to assist by connecting you with other trusted vendors I’ve worked with.
3. Engagement photoshoot
A fun, easy, and laid back photoshoot and time for us to connect. You get great photos which can be used for save the dates, invitations, and display at your wedding reception.
4. Wedding photo planning session
One month before your wedding, we discuss how we are going to implement your photo vision for your wedding day. I get to hear the special details for your wedding day, provide input on any timeline questions which pertain to photos, and ensure I know any of your must have photos so I can make a list and capture them.
5. The Wedding Day
We celebrate, have fun, and take great photos on your special day! It’s gonna be a blast!
6. Receive & Share Your Photos
You get some sneak peek photos the day after your wedding! Then within 30 days of the wedding you receive all your edited images!
